Unilever conducts a project called “Chain Reaction”, which is designed by logistics department and senior students and which takes support from academicians throughout the year. The project specifically focuses on students who aim to have a career in supply chain function. Within the scope of the project, groups which are formed by senior-year students from Bilkent University, Bosphorus University, METU, Koç University, Sabancı University and İstanbul Technical University conduct projects about different branches of supply chain function for nine months. Being interrelated, the projects enable project groups reflect different points of view. Having consultancy from management trainees who just joined Unilever by taking similar paths, the project groups meet frequently with others academicians throughout the year and have the opportunity to get to know different departments of Unilever and to work with managers. At the same time, Unilever integrates different point of views of young talents by using the outputs of projects to develop the way they do business.
